NUNO works with silk craftsmen in Kyoto Prefecture to make "Tampopo" tango chirimen—a unique type of silk crepe woven in the region for over 300 years. By using untwisted warp threads and hard-twisted weft threads, these highly skilled weavers are able to create fabric that combines a delicate transparency with a clearly expressed pattern. Featuring a motif of dandelions, this incredibly special textile is showcased as an easy, loose blouse in striking red.
