To create "Burnout Balls," NUNO combines washi paper with silk to produce strong twisted warp and weft threads. Once these are woven, carefully selected portions of the silk are dissolved, leaving a textural pattern of circles on a sheer base. This dramatic tunic in rich olive is ideal over pants for an easy outfit that transcends seasons.
